I've finally decided to get some content up on this site about kicks. So, this is the place where you can find pics, opinions, and any release info that I come across on shoes that I own, covet, or that simply caught my eye and piqued my interest.
That being said, the latest shoe to really get my attention is the Nike LunarGlide 7. Particularly in the white/anthracite/cool grey/black colorway.
While I've never owned a pair of LunarGlides, I've tried on the 4s, 5s, and 6s to see how they compared to the LunarEclipse line (which I LOVE).
I found all LunarGlides I've tried to be comfortable, and they seemed to offer the same degree of stability as the LunarEclipse 1 and 2. However, they were noticeably less plush, and felt like they were built for runners faster than myself who still desired lightweight, dynamic support.
Opinions around the Internet have converged on the consensus that the LunarGlide 7 is now more plush and light than ever, thanks in large part to the dual-density Lunarlon midsole and the engineered mesh + Flyknit upper. If Nike somehow threw in some Zoom Air, then they'd have a sneaker with 4 out of my 5 favorite Nike sneaker tech innovations (#5 being Foamposite).
These kicks are available now at Nike and a variety of other sneaker retailers for $125, which I think is a hell of a deal for a great looking sneaker, on or off the road, trail, or track.
